Sex Therapy

Sexuality is multidimensional, complex and an integral part of who we are as humans and plays and fundamental role in our development & well-being. For this reason, sexuality is a human right and important for all persons to feel positive and confident about oneself.

Sex therapy & psychosexual counselling is a talk-based approach addressing sexuality related issues experienced by clients coping with physical & mental health concerns. Different approaches are used to resolve sexuality related issues. Some sexual issues are specific to health, situation, age, physical sex, gender & experience of the individual.

Sexuality related issues can arise from several areas: managing existing medical & psychological conditions & treatments, changes in the lifespan, stress, lifestyle, life events, unhelpful behaviours, challenging social environments and many other factors.

Resolving sexuality related issues requires a safe and non-judgmental space to make it easy to talk about your concerns, your context and your needs.

As a clinically qualified, trained and accredited professional, I provide personalised guidance, support and develop treatment plans with you, using scientific, evidence based and ethical approaches to improve physical functioning, psychological and relationship wellbeing.

Consultations can be short, medium and long term depending on the issues and how you would like to work.
